Based on the current classification of skin changes in pregnant women, the authors present the results of a follow-up of 356 women in different gestation periods. The most common changes in the skin are its impaired pigmentation and striae gravidarum. Acne, prurigo, eczemas, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and others are recorded among nonspecific dermatoses. Recommendations are given for therapy and prevention of individual types of dermatoses.
