AFFECTIVE AND ANXIETY DISORDERS IN PATIENTS TREATED BY A PLASTIC SURGEON AND A COSMETOLOGIST

There is evidence that the patients treated by a cosmetologist and a plastic surgeon have depressive and anxiety disorders. In addition, 63% of the patients are prone to social fear. The study shows it necessary to perform comprehensive diagnostic examination and remedial and rehabilitative measures, by attracting a psychiatrist (a psychotherapist) to treat this contingent of patients.
