Structural changes in the skin were studied in the treatment of its scars by a combination of fractional photothermolysis and filler, a stabilized hyaluronic acid preparation that triggered collagen neogenesis. The bases for found changes were improved microcirculation and tissue trophism due to the dilated vascular lumen, reduced productive vasculitis, normalized vascular wall permeability, larger numbers of fibroblasts, and their enhanced functional activity.
