PHOTOTHERAPY FOR CHRONIC DERMATOSES

The paper describes the mechanisms of photobiological exposure, ultraviolet irradiation, indications for phototherapy, and the practical experience of photo treatment in many countries of the world and the clinical experience of the Virtus Ukrainian Institute of Plastic Surgery and Cosmetology and analyzes narrow-band 311 nm UV phototherapy as an effective and safe treatment option in the management of many common chronic dermatoses.
