POSSIBILITIES OF USING LAENNEC TO TREAT SKIN SCARRING CHANGES

The paper analyzes the data available in the literature on the role of immunological mechanisms in the formation of skin scarring changes. It shows the implication of abnormal collagen synthesis and degradation in scar formation and considers the leading role in the formation of keloid scars, particularly in the impaired interaction of fibroblasts and macrophages. It is recommended that the immunomodulator Laennek be used in the treatment of skin scarring changes.
